We will be accepting applications for Stern Village From May 28 – June 30. Applications are also available at the THA Office Monday – Friday, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Application received after the deadline MUST be postmarked on or before June 30.
The Wait List
The Wait List is a list of applicants, based on a lottery system for Stern Village. It does is a guarantee for housing.
Applicants will be contacted when the THA has a vacant apartment for rental. Additional selection criteria will be adhered to at that time.
The Wait List is posted and continuously updated on our website and on the Stern Village Community Room Board, located in the Community Room, 200 Hedgehog Circle.
If your phone number and/or address changes you MUST advise the THA Office immediately.

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE TRUMBULL HOUSING AUTHORITY
Accepting Applications for NON-SMOKERS ONLY
Starting May 28, 2019 at 9 AM & Ending on June 30, 2019 at 4 PM
Applications postmarked before May 28 or after June 30 will not be accepted.
Eligible applicant households must have a head, co-head, or spouse age 62 or older, or eligible disabled, at least 18 years old to qualify. Applicants who meet the criteria which are: national credit & criminal background checks, landlord verification and interviews will be selected randomly for a place on the waiting list by a lottery system. OPENINGS ARE FOR NON-SMOKERS ONLY!
Income Cannot Exceed:
$52,850/YEAR FOR 1 PERSON For a smaller 1-bedroom, the base rent is $400.
$60,400/YEAR FOR 2 PEOPLE For a larger 1-bedroom, the base rent is $450.
Tenant cannot pay lower than the base rent.
Tenant pays for utilities (except water) and cable TV.
Rent calculation is based on 30% of adjusted monthly income.

Apply by mail or drop off your completed application to the THA.
For an application to be mailed back, address an envelope to the THA and include a pre-stamped, self-addressed envelope.
Phone, fax, email or voice-mail applications will NOT be accepted. Only one application per family; one family submitting more than one application will be disqualified.
